for
me, there is only one choice when it comes to italian restaurants
in leeds. at salvo's they don't bother about simply generating
hype and stick to what certain other establishments forget: delivering
hot,
flavourful
and reasonably-priced food to their customers, complemented by
a buzzing atmosphere, excellent service and none of the pretentiousness
found elsewhere.
good
italian cooking is hard to find - all too often overcooked pasta
and pizza's with cheap, flavourless toppings leave you wondering
why you didn't just stay at home and make your own. fortunately,
that's not the case at this wonderful little eatery at the top
end of headingley. it is one of the few places in the area that
doesn't cater specifically to students - but that's not to say
that eating here is expensive - just slightly more so than it's
neighbours.
forget
flying pizza, don't bother with bibi's - for style and substance:
salvo's hits the spot.
