located
in leeds city centre on the site of the old rock bar, anthony's has
caused a real stir since it opened it's
doors in march 2004.
chef
tony flinn learnt his trade at ferran adrià's world renowned
three michelin starred el bulli restaurant in roses, spain. he has
brought the conceptual cooking techniques he learnt under the grand
master to the fore in thrusting the world of molecular gastronomy
upon an unsuspecting west yorkshire public. the service isn't up
to what you'd expect from a restaurant of this level and the decor
is nothing special - but don't let that take anything away from this
place.
flinn has rightly earned national
acclaim for his work here, and while it's safe to say that this
is currently
the most exclusive and expensive
restaurant in the city, the hype is more than justified by the divine
culinary experiences which can be found on offer here.
